Youth Progammes
The Cloneshouse Foundation prepares young people with the skills, values, and pathways needed to succeed, before they enter full professional practice.
The Core Life Skills Training
Youth from low-income backgrounds will join a 5-day, in-person core life skills program at our lab in the Federal Capital Territory. Others can access a 3-week online version. Unselected individuals receive weekly newsletters with offers, training links, and opportunities. After the training, participants take a self-test assessment. Based on the results, they’re admitted to employability or social entrepreneurship training.
Arts & Sports for Youth Development
The Cloneshouse Foundation uses arts and sports as tools for youth development, helping young people build confidence, life skills, and a strong sense of identity. Through creative expression and inclusive physical activities, we support youth to develop teamwork, leadership, wellbeing, and employability-ready skills in safe, non-elite spaces.
Employability Skills Training
After completing the Core Life Skills, and choosing the employability pathway, we will deliver a 5-day in-person, 10-module employability training across our hubs. The self-paced online version is delivered in 3 weeks. Furthermore, our employability training participants will be admitted into a 3-week mentorship program, creating a leadership pathway and possible internship, volunteering, and job placement opportunities. This will include helping to review job goals, CVs, Cover letters, and online profiles, and improving social behaviors or habits that attract employers. Cloneshouse and its other entities will employ some promising young people in each cohort.
Entrepreneurship Skills Training
For those that completed the Core Life Skills program, and chose to start a sustainable business, We will deliver a 5-day in-person, 10-module social entrepreneurship training using our Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprises (CEFE) adapted course. The self-paced online version is delivered in 3 weeks. Social entrepreneurship training participants will be admitted into a 3-week mentorship program, creating a leadership pathway and starting a business opportunity. This will include helping to review the business canvas, start-up budget, business plan envisioning financing (business bank account) and legal status (formalization), starting the business with a Minimum Viable Product, and linking entrepreneurs with other business incubation hubs. Cloneshouse and its entities will happily support the most promising entrepreneurs with office spaces, a seed investment, and intellectual support.
